Indeed true, this quote is true in case of any lake in the world, but when we talk about the mesmerizing CITY OF LAKES i.e. Udaipur, we cannot miss the majestic and grand lake PICHOLA of Udaipur.

Lake Pichola is positioned in Udaipur city and is an artificial fresh water lake, shaped in the year 1362 AD, named after a neighbouring Picholi village. It is one of the several adjoining lakes, and developed beautifully in the CITY OF LAKES - UDAIPUR.

The two beautifully breathtaking islands, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir are placed within Pichola Lake, and have been developed with numerous palaces to provide view of the majestic lake.

The magnificent Pichola Lake was built in 1362 AD by Banjara, a tribesman who elated grain. Later on Maharana Udai Singh simply mesmerized by the beautiful lake built Udaipur city around it and further reconstructed the lake.
